That's exactly how my face looks yesterday... like a sour prune, frustrated over a situation I can't change. Expressing my emotions on a character really helps to cool things...

IF - Frozen

Her little hands were almost frozen with the cold. Ah! perhaps a burning match might be some good, if she could draw it from the bundle and strike it against the wall, just to warm her fingers.

A quick one this time. Just wanna get back into IF! It's been too long!

In my opinion, a woman in the classic cheongsam or qipao is full of poise, grace and elegance.

IF - Subtract

Subtract is a hard topic. I've been sleeping on this for days. Thinking and doodling for ideas. The word makes me think of counting, taking away bad eggs, housekeeping my resources...
The old has to go to make way for the new.

Portrait Day

These are some of the sketches I did at the OIC Portrait Day. I seriously need to brush up my hatching skill. It's so hard to apply the exact pressure on the right spot to create marks and lines that portray accurate lighting and shapes. The more serious parts that I need to work on for now is shading of the nose, the bridge of the nose, and the chin. I also need to study human anatomy. Practise, practise, practise!
